                 Because of the color scheme I had in mind, finding these color palettes only took a few moments.  These color palettes are based on the most known car colors that would be seen on the road.  

                The magazine cover displays a woman wearing a race suit and helmet. Based on the magazine's cover, masthead, and cover lines, this magazine is about female racers. However, when using representation theory, we note that racing sports such as NASCAR are mostly dominated by the male portion of society. Now considering that this sport is male-dominated, we notice that a female is participating in this sport as well, which can be depicted by others as she's different then most stereotypes. When considering the male stereotypical sports, these female racers display that other women can participate in whatever they would like, but the stereotype of these female racers may be depicted as different from other women in society. However, most women globally would be known as helpers, nurturers, and homemakers, so when some studies this cover, they are most likely not thinking about who is inside the helmet and who she is as a person. Based on research, several thousand automotive magazines are sold a day, and the most suggested magazines to read are those discussing brand-new cars, their latest models, and why that model is better than the rest. The possible target audience for these magazines is previous car owners, racers, automatics, or new car owners. However, the main reason people purchase magazines like this is that most people cannot buy expensive cars or race cars and read these magazines to comprehend what makes these cars so expensive and what makes them so different. Another genre that car enthusiasts or new car owners may be interested in is car magazines focused on buying or selling cars.                  The magazine cover displays smooth lighting on the vehicle, while still grabbing the viewer's attention to the vehicle. In addition to the lighting captivating the viewer's attention to the vehicle, the main image's high-quality content and the shallow focus in the background add additional aid to ensure that the viewer's first glance goes toward the vehicle. These are crucial factors of the magazine that help it stand out and persuade those who look at the magazine to purchase it. However, while the main image of the magazine is what grabs the attention of its viewers, the masthead is the most crucial factor in encouraging the viewer to commit to reading this magazine. The masthead reads "FAST CLUB" which is targeted to the audience of the stereotypical male. However, the audience can range from any car owner, racer, or any group of people interested in fast vehicles.

The way I depict the meaning of "Media" in the class Mediastudies is the creation of a film, character, setting, or costume based on a genre of media. The way media aids in the breaking down of a film is the multitude of categories that media is broken down into. For example, when depicting the mood lighting may convey in a scene, this can fall under the category of mis-en-scene. There are categories such as sound, mis-en-scene, camera shots, and camera angles. These categories are used to build the film and create the visual mood for said film.  However, aside from the breaking down and comprehension of media, I enjoy many forms of media.
