Magazine cover ideas




So I spent some time outside of school taking some photos of motorcycles to see if I would prefer motorcycles over cars for my vehicle magazine. I’m still strong with my preference for high-key lighting on these vehicles, however I’m still experimenting with angles for the vehicles and will continue to update and try more angles for my magazine cover and I will update my blogger with new photos soon.

                The magazine cover displays a woman wearing a race suit and helmet. Based on the magazine's cover, masthead, and cover lines, this magazine is about female racers. However, when using representation theory, we note that racing sports such as NASCAR are mostly dominated by the male portion of society. Now considering that this sport is male-dominated, we notice that a female is participating in this sport as well, which can be depicted by others as she's different then most stereotypes. When considering the male stereotypical sports, these female racers display that other women can participate in whatever they would like, but the stereotype of these female racers may be depicted as different from other women in society.
